Kelly Macdonald MSPT

Kelly Macdonald is an alumni of UCSF’s esteemed Physical Therapy program, bringing over two decades of experience across diverse health care environments.  Kelly helps people manage acute and chronic injuries, facilitates post-operative rehabilitation, and rectifies faulty movement patterns.  She is passionate about helping people get back to their cherished activities whether it's returning to sport or simply performing daily activities with minimal discomfort. Through assessing movement, tissue health, and joint mobility, Kelly pinpoints imbalances and empowers clients with the tools needed to optimize function and prevent injury.  Through collaborative partnership, she tailors personalized treatment plans integrating proprioceptive neuromuscular re-education, gait repatterning, soft tissue mobilization, self myofascial release, and other manual techniques.  Leveraging evidence-based technologies such as winback tecar, shockwave therapy, EMTT, and photobiomodulation, she expedites recovery and mitigates pain while bolstering the body’s innate healing processes.  As a mother, avid surfer, adventurer, and athlete, Kelly appreciates movement’s profound impact on mental, physical and spiritual well-being. She extends compassionate support to individuals at any stage of their healing journey with empathy and expertise.
