The FibroScan® is a fast, non-invasive scan that measures the amount of fat (steatosis) and scarring (fibrosis) in your liver, giving you clear insights into its condition. Using advanced technology called transient elastography, the FibroScan® measures how sound waves pass through your liver tissue. The scan is painless — you will feel only a light vibration on the skin.
